I’m the one who had to pause the friendship. It’s just as heartbreaking to be the one who puts the pause on the friendship. But the friendship was hurting me and even though I tried to work things out for 8 months…she could not see where I was getting hurt. I love her and want the best for her. I want to reconcile. But I would need trust to be built again. When there is a friendship breakup, it could be necessary. And all we can do is work on ourselves and heal so we can continue to have healthy relationships

What do you do when a friend ghosts you? We've been friends for almost a year, and all of a sudden they blocked my number, and have continued to ignore me. This happened a little over an hour ago, and I have no idea what I did. I definitely feel a hole inside that hurts the more I think about it. Look, I'm in my 30's. Making friends is difficult at my age, and...I don't have many friends who care about me. This was the last friend I really felt cared for me and now...I feel like I don't deserve friends. My friend and I were very intimate together. I thought he was interested. I told him my feelings and now he doesn’t want to be friends anymore. Even though I told him I was sorry for the misunderstanding and that I still want to be friends. He blocked me on the sites we were chatting on. After nearly 2 months I ran into him in public and we agreed to talk on text over the weekend. I messaged him and he didn’t respond. So sad cause I really want to be friends together. And just friends. But he is stubborn and doesn’t seem to want that.
